Mechabeast

Mechabeast are a variety of mechanical creatures often resembling organic lifeforms brought to life via the power of Mana. Their size is incredibly variable, ranging from about the trivial size of a cashew, all the way to continental. The origins of Mechabeast are as varied as their forms, be it Mana Deities created them to enact their individual biddings, Mana Casters brought them into being, or another Mechabeast brought one to life. They can be made of a wide range of materials, such as (but not limited to): stone, wood, metal, cloth, and/or glass. The most stable - and thusly the most common - are those primarily made of some sort of metal.

Classification

Mechabeast are primarily classified by their size and a general set of type characteristics, such as the number of limbs or their resemblance to organic life.

Size Classes

The size classes of Mechabeast range from Micro to Apex, with Micro being the smallest size class and Apex being the largest.

Apex

There exists only one known Apex-class Mechabeast. Apexia Mecha Majora - or simply just Majora - is the largest known Mechabeast in Vanquera. There are claims that there once existed more Apex-class Mechabeast (and thus claims that they still exist), though Majora remains the only known instance. Majora was considered so far beyond the rest that it was given its own category on the scale.
