Swordswayers are known for their devotion to their oaths as much as they are known for their raw strength. As such, when one breaks their sworn oath, they are considered pariahs by just about everyone. Revenge, while not a rarity among certain sects of Swordswayers (such as the Equavirians), is considered highly improper of Invardium Swordswayers, as they are often considered exemplary.

Jenia Alet breaks these commonly accepted convention of Invardium Swordswayers. Having broken her oath in her pursuit of revenge, Jenia Alet has made herself many enemies.

History

When Jenia Alet was younger, she wound up in the hands of a number of abusive men - and the occasional woman - who would relentlessly assault her at every opportunity. It was when one beating broke her nose that she ran away, seeking shelter among the Swordswayers whom she had long looked up to. She was trained in their ways, but deep down her contempt brewed and festered until it calcified into a seething hatred for her once abusers.

Jenia Alet would stop at nothing until each and every one of her abusers was brought down at her own hand. Even if it meant innocents wound up on the crossfire - something she proved herself not only capable of doing, but apathetic toward. If it meant her abusers would be dealt with, whatever was left in the wake couldn't possibly be her fault. In her mind, if you're in her way, you're not merely a justifiable casualty, you're an ignorant protector of the continued perpetuation of abuse simply because you were in the way. And that she cannot abide.
